Independence Day

June is coming to a close and that means July 4th is next week.  Here are some clever ideas for Independence Day celebration decorations.

Red and blue bandanas as napkins in mason jars used for drinks.  Just add a red or blue table cloth and white plates.  Easy!

If you have a lot of time on your hands, you can arrange your books in your bookcase to look like a flag!

This cake from Epicurious would be a real show stopper.  

Or take your cue from Real Simple and use a mix of berries with store bought shortcake biscuits and whipped cream.  Or why not angle-food or pound cake?
