Trend: Motorcycle Jackets

Last year I gave away my black leather jacket. I was tired of it and it just didn't do anything for me. This fall, Motorcycle jackets are one of the popular trends, key pieces, or must haves according to magazines and retailers. I'm debating whether or not I "must have" another leather jacket.

DKNY jacket is Editor pick at INSTYLE .

Motorcycle jackets are not just for a biker chic look, they can be juxtaposed with dresses and skirts.
With the help of Polyvore, I put together a look with a leather jacket, a red(another trend) bag, and Frye boots. The belt has some studs, for the hardware trend and a blue scarf to soften the look. From my online search, the jacket doesn't have to be black and there are some feminine styles. I think I'll be looking for just the right jacket. Considering the temperatures in Michigan this past weekend...I'll be wearing it soon and for a LONG time.

  1. Oh that DKNY jacket is definitely a must have I'd say. That is gorgeous. Your Polyvore set is very cool Deborah. I love everything in it, especially that bag! You have a flair for this stuff. :)

Just between you and me, my dear, I'm wanting to shut down my blog. I've started a new one, just about places and things in the midwest, and I find it's more up my alley. Of course my first blogroll link is Spiral Style! :) I love this blog of yours Deborah. Anyway, I wanted you, my midwestern buddy, to know before I announced it in a post.

  3. I'll give you the link, but I probably won't post it on dayspring. I kinda want a fresh start and you'll see that I need to work out the kinks and get my writing legs under me, and oh yeah, build up some posts :) I'm not loving the name of it either and that might change too. LOL. It is fun though. I am writing this from that blog's account, so I think you can just click on my name to be taken to it? there's only 4 posts right now, and you'll recognize 2 of them from dayspring, so it's not too exciting yet. :) Of course any and all suggestions to make it better are welcome!!!

Thank you so much for being such a great support Deborah. It means a lot to me.
