How cool is this Steamer Trunk Armoire from Restoration Hardware?
This reproduction of an antique steamer trunk turned secretary desk is not cheap at $2995. Composed of leather and canvas over wood with about 3 thousand hand-hammered brass nail heads this piece is reminiscent of a past era of opulent ocean voyages.
Like a trunk, the piece does close and it is on wheels for mobility. This could be a great piece for a small-space living.
